Interactive Brokers portfolio tracker for stocks and crypto

CentraFIN reads your Interactive Brokers (IBKR) account through its Flex statements, read-only. Your stocks, ETFs, bonds, and cash show up next to your crypto: a single total value for everything you have invested.

What CentraFIN reads

• Positions: stocks, ETFs, bonds, and cash, with their cost basis.
• Transactions: buys and sells, dividends, interest, and fees.
• Transfers: deposits, withdrawals, and security transfers.
• Corporate actions: splits, mergers, and distributions.

Statements are read again every 30 minutes.

Set up the Flex Query

1. In IBKR's Client Portal, open Performance & Reports › Flex Queries.
2. Create an Activity Flex Query with the Open Positions, Trades, Cash Transactions, Transfers, and Corporate Actions sections, in XML format.
3. Write down its ID.
4. On the same page, turn on the Flex Web Service and copy its token.

Add it to CentraFIN

1. Open Connectors, then Add a connector, then Interactive Brokers.
2. Paste the Flex Web Service token and the Flex Query ID.
3. Your positions show up on the Stocks and Cash pages.

Your security

• The Flex Web Service only reads statements: no order or wire transfer can go through it.
• The token is encrypted as soon as it arrives and is never shown again; only the Flex Query's number stays visible.

With your other accounts

IBKR joins Kraken, Coinbase, OKX, Binance, Hyperliquid, and your Bitcoin wallets. You finally see the real share of crypto in your net worth, and how much your stocks weigh against it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see my open IBKR orders?

Flex statements describe positions and past transactions; your working orders stay in IBKR's own tools. The Stocks page says so.

Can I connect several IBKR accounts?

Yes, one connector per Flex Query, each with its own name.
