KuCoin portfolio tracker: balances, futures, cost basis and history

CentraFIN reads your KuCoin account with an API key that only has the General permission, the reading one. Whether your account is classic or unified (Unified Trading Account), CentraFIN recognises it on its own: you see your KuCoin accounts together, your futures positions, your open orders, your average cost and your transfers, next to your other platforms.

What CentraFIN reads

• Balances: on a classic account, your funding, trading, cross and isolated margin (less what you have borrowed) and futures accounts; on a unified account, your unified account and your funding account. Your Earn holdings are added, all of it valued in euros every minute while the dashboard is open.
• Futures: your open positions, with their unrealised P&L, and the margin that covers them.
• Open orders: on a unified account, your spot, margin and futures orders, conditional orders included; on a classic account, your futures orders, your stop orders and your spot orders.
• Average cost and gains: your spot trades, and on a unified account your margin trades. KuCoin provides recent trades (one week on a classic account, up to three months on a unified account): CentraFIN reads them as soon as you connect, then keeps every new trade.
• Transfers: crypto deposits and withdrawals since February 2019, on the blockchain or between KuCoin accounts, matched with your other accounts when a transfer goes from one to another.
• History: your futures fills, from the last three months onward, then as they happen, and your account ledger.

Create the key on KuCoin

1. On KuCoin, open your account menu, then API Management, then Create API.
2. Give it a name and choose a passphrase. Write it down: you will need it to add the key.
3. Leave only the General permission: no trading, margin, futures, Earn, transfers or withdrawals.
4. Restrict the key to the IP address 130.110.240.91, our relay's address.
5. Complete the security check, then copy the API key and the secret key.

Add it to CentraFIN

1. In the dashboard, open Connectors, then Add a connector, then KuCoin.
2. Give it a name and paste the API key, the secret key and the passphrase.
3. CentraFIN asks KuCoin for the key's permissions before keeping it, and recognises a classic or unified account. Your balances appear within a minute; your history follows over the next few minutes.

Your security

• A key with any permission other than General is rejected: only reading gets through.
• The key, its secret key and its passphrase are encrypted as soon as they arrive (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown again: only the end of the key stays visible.
• All calls go out from our relay, from a single address. If KuCoin asks to slow down, CentraFIN stops and waits before resuming.

With your other accounts

Your KuCoin futures appear alongside those from Binance, Bybit and OKX, and your spot alongside your Coinbase balances. A withdrawal from KuCoin to another of your accounts appears as an internal transfer, not as money leaving. Other platforms: all integrations.

Frequently asked questions

Can CentraFIN trade or withdraw on my KuCoin account?

No. The key only has the General permission, the reading one, and CentraFIN checks with KuCoin that it has no other before keeping it.

My account is unified: does it work?

Yes. CentraFIN recognises a classic or unified account with the same key, and reads for each what its API provides.

Are my margin and Earn savings counted?

Yes. The margin accounts, less what you have borrowed, and your Earn holdings are counted in your total value with the rest.

Is KuCoin tracking free?

Yes. Every integration is included in the Free plan.
