Bitstamp portfolio tracker: balances, perpetuals, cost basis and history
Connect Bitstamp read-only: balances, Earn, perpetual positions, open orders, average cost over your full history and transfers.
CentraFIN reads your Bitstamp account with an API key that only has query permissions. You see your balances, your Earn, your perpetual positions, your open orders, your average cost and your transfers, next to your other platforms. Bitstamp Europe, UK and USA use the same API: your account connects the same way, wherever it was opened.
What CentraFIN reads
- Balances: each currency in your account, available or reserved by your orders, valued in euros every minute while the dashboard is open.
- Earn: what you have put into staking and lending, counted separately as savings.
- Perpetuals: your open positions, with the result of the current settlement period; what Bitstamp has already settled is in your balances.
- Open orders: on spot and on perpetuals, with their price and value.
- Average cost and gains: all your trades since the first one.
- Transfers: deposits and withdrawals of crypto, euros and other currencies; for crypto, the transaction hash and a withdrawal's address, to match them with your other accounts.
- History: every transaction in your account, your withdrawal requests and your perpetuals trades.
Create the key on Bitstamp
- On Bitstamp, open Settings › API Access, then create a new key.
- Tick only the query permissions: Account balance, User transactions, Open orders, Crypto transactions and Withdrawal requests. No order, withdrawal, transfer or Earn permission.
- Restrict the key to the IP address 130.110.240.91, our relay's address.
- Copy the API key and the secret key, then activate the key with the link Bitstamp sends you by email.
Add it to CentraFIN
- In the dashboard, open Connectors, then Add a connector, then Bitstamp.
- Give it a name and paste the API key and the secret key.
- CentraFIN checks the key with Bitstamp before keeping it. Your balances appear within a minute; your history follows over the next few minutes.
Your security
- Bitstamp doesn't say which permissions a key has. So CentraFIN sends it every write request with no amount at all (buy, sell, withdrawal, transfer between accounts, Earn subscription), which can't execute anything: if Bitstamp doesn't answer that the key lacks the permission, the key is rejected.
- The key and its secret key are encrypted as soon as they arrive (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown again: only the end of the key stays visible.
- All calls go out from our relay, from a single address. If Bitstamp asks to slow down, CentraFIN stops and waits before resuming.
With your other accounts
Your Bitstamp balances appear alongside those from Kraken, Coinbase and Bitvavo, and your perpetuals alongside those from Hyperliquid. A withdrawal from Bitstamp to another of your accounts appears as an internal transfer, not as money leaving. Other platforms: all integrations.

Frequently asked questions
Can CentraFIN trade or withdraw on my Bitstamp account?
No. The key only has query permissions, and CentraFIN checks with Bitstamp that it can't trade, withdraw or transfer before keeping it.
My account is with Bitstamp Europe or Bitstamp USA: does it work?
Yes. Bitstamp's entities use the same API, and the key is created the same way.
Can I connect several Bitstamp accounts?
Yes. A key reads the account or sub-account where it was created: one connector per account, each with its own key and name, up to 12 connectors in total.
Is Bitstamp tracking free?
Yes. Every integration is included in the Free plan.
