Bitpanda portfolio tracker: crypto, shares, ETFs, metals and cost basis

CentraFIN reads your Bitpanda account with an API key that only has reading permissions. You see your crypto, your shares, your ETFs and your precious metals in one place, with your average cost and your transfers, next to your other platforms.

What CentraFIN reads

• Balances: your whole Bitpanda portfolio, crypto, crypto indices, precious metals, shares, ETFs, Cash Plus and your currency balances, valued in euros at Bitpanda's price every minute while the dashboard is open.
• Shares and ETFs: shown with your other securities, each with the average purchase price Bitpanda calculates.
• Average cost and gains: your buys, your sells and your swaps of crypto, indices and metals, fees kept separate.
• Transfers: deposits and withdrawals of crypto, euros and other currencies, matched with your other accounts when a transfer goes from one to another.
• Full history: every operation in your account since it was opened, kept as Bitpanda provides it.

Create the key on Bitpanda

1. Sign in to Bitpanda, open Account settings › API Keys, then create a new API key.
2. Give it a name, for example "CentraFIN".
3. Tick only Balances and Transaction: no Trade (Write) and no Earn (Write).
4. Choose its expiration date: a Bitpanda key lasts one year at most.
5. Leave the list of allowed IP addresses turned off.
6. Copy the key: Bitpanda shows it only once.

Add it to CentraFIN

1. In the dashboard, open Connectors, then Add a connector, then Bitpanda.
2. Give it a name and paste the API key.
3. CentraFIN checks the key with Bitpanda before keeping it. Your balances appear within a minute; your history follows over the next few minutes.

Your security

• A key that can trade or stake is rejected: CentraFIN asks Bitpanda for an empty quote and an empty stake, which it must refuse to a read-only key. Nothing is ever bought, sold or locked.
• The key is encrypted as soon as it arrives (AES-256-GCM) and is never shown again, not even in part.
• Bitpanda is called directly by our servers, without our relay: that is why the key stays without a list of IP addresses. If Bitpanda asks to slow down, CentraFIN stops and waits before resuming.
• When your key expires, create a new one and replace it in the connector: your history stays.

With your other accounts

Your Bitpanda shares and ETFs appear alongside those from Interactive Brokers, and your crypto alongside that from Kraken, Coinbase and Bitvavo. A withdrawal from Bitpanda to another of your accounts appears as an internal transfer, not as money leaving. Other platforms: all integrations.

Frequently asked questions

Can CentraFIN trade or withdraw on my Bitpanda account?

No. The key only has the Balances and Transaction permissions, and CentraFIN checks with Bitpanda that it can neither trade nor stake before keeping it. Bitpanda's API offers no withdrawals.

Are my shares, ETFs and metals counted?

Yes. Everything you hold on Bitpanda is counted in your total value, at the price Bitpanda shows.

Can I connect several Bitpanda accounts?

Yes, one connector per account, each with its own key and name, up to 12 connectors in total.

Is Bitpanda tracking free?

Yes. Every integration is included in the Free plan.
