Terms of use
The rules for using CentraFIN: what the service provides, what it doesn't and your commitments.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the centrafin.xyz website and the app.centrafin.xyz service, published by CentraFIN (see the legal notice). By creating an account, you accept them, along with the privacy policy.
2. The service
CentraFIN displays, read-only, the accounts you connect and the Bitcoin wallets you add. The service evolves: features may be added, changed or removed.
3. Your account
- The service is for adults only.
- You keep your sign-in methods (your email address, your passkeys, your authenticator app) safe and are responsible for anything done with them.
- Your account only opens with your sign-in methods: no one, CentraFIN included, can get in without them. If you lose access to your email address, a passkey still signs you in and you change the address in the settings. Your funds, for their part, always stay on your platforms and in your wallets.
4. Your API keys
- You only connect read-only keys, which you create on each platform.
- Where the platform makes it possible to check, CentraFIN rejects any key that can trade, transfer or withdraw.
- You can remove a connector at any time, and revoke the key on the platform.
5. The figures shown
The figures are calculated from data provided by the platforms and Bitcoin nodes, and from public prices. They may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. They are neither official statements nor tax documents: check with your platforms before making any decision or filing.
6. No investment advice
CFIN 3.4, the analyses and the articles provide general information. They are not personalised recommendations. CentraFIN is neither a financial investment adviser nor a crypto-asset service provider. Your investment decisions are yours alone. Investing involves a risk of capital loss.
7. Plans
The Free plan costs nothing. CentraFIN One and CentraFIN Professional are monthly subscriptions with no commitment, which you can cancel at any time. Their terms of sale (price, payment, right of withdrawal, cancellation) are presented to you and accepted when you subscribe.
8. What is prohibited
- Accessing, or attempting to access, another person's account.
- Bypassing or testing the service's security without following the rules on the Security page.
- Overloading the service, or extracting its content by automated means outside the access provided for that purpose (such as the MCP server).
9. Availability
The service is provided as is. It may be interrupted, in particular for maintenance or when a platform does not respond.
10. Liability
CentraFIN is not liable for losses arising from your investment decisions, nor for how third-party platforms operate. Nothing in these terms limits its liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct, or the rights the law guarantees you as a consumer.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time, from the settings. CentraFIN may suspend an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms.
12. Changes
The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Any significant change is announced in the service before it takes effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. If there is a disagreement, write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts are those designated by law.
