Bitvavo portfolio tracker: balances, staking, cost basis, and history

Connect Bitvavo read-only: balances, staking, average cost over your full history, and crypto and euro deposits and withdrawals.

CentraFIN reads your Bitvavo account with an API key that only has view access. You see your Bitvavo balances, what you have staked, your average cost, and your transfers, next to your other platforms.

What CentraFIN reads

  • Balances: each asset in your account, available or reserved by your orders, valued in euros every minute while the dashboard is open.
  • Staking: assets in fixed-term staking, counted separately from your available balance.
  • Average cost and gains: your buys, your sells, and your conversions, since your first day on Bitvavo.
  • Transfers: deposits and withdrawals of crypto and euros, matched with your other accounts when a transfer goes from one to another.
  • Full history: every line of your transaction history (staking rewards included), kept as Bitvavo provides it.

Create the key on Bitvavo

  1. Sign in to Bitvavo, open Settings, then the API tab, then Add new API key.
  2. Give it a name.
  3. In the list of allowed IP addresses (IP Whitelist), add 130.110.240.91, our relay's address.
  4. Tick only View access: no Trade digital assets, no Withdraw digital assets, and no subaccount access.
  5. Enter your two-factor authentication code and confirm, then copy the API key and the secret key.

Add it to CentraFIN

  1. In the dashboard, open Connectors, then Add a connector, then Bitvavo.
  2. Give it a name and paste the API key and the secret key.
  3. CentraFIN checks the key with Bitvavo before keeping it. Your balances show up within a minute; your history follows over the next few minutes.

Your security

  • Bitvavo doesn't say which permissions a key has. So CentraFIN asks it for a market's open orders, which only a trading key can read, and for an empty withdrawal, with no asset, no amount, and no address: if Bitvavo doesn't refuse both for lack of permission, the key is rejected. Nothing is placed, nothing is sent.
  • The key and its secret key are encrypted as soon as they arrive (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown again: only the end of the key stays visible.
  • All calls go out from our relay, from a single address. If Bitvavo asks to slow down, CentraFIN stops and waits before resuming.

With your other accounts

Your Bitvavo balances show up alongside those from Kraken, Coinbase, and Bitstamp, and your buys count toward a single average cost per asset. A withdrawal from Bitvavo to another of your accounts shows up as an internal transfer, not as money leaving. Other platforms: all integrations.

Frequently asked questions

Can CentraFIN trade or withdraw on my Bitvavo account?

No. The key only has view access, and CentraFIN checks with Bitvavo that it can neither trade nor withdraw before keeping it.

Do my Bitvavo open orders show up?

Bitvavo only gives open orders to keys that can trade, and CentraFIN keeps none of those. What your orders reserve is counted in your balance.

Is my staking counted?

Yes. Assets in fixed-term staking are counted in your total value, and their rewards are kept in your history.

Is Bitvavo tracking free?

Yes. Every integration is included in the Free plan.
